Chandramauli Dwivedi

Chef patron Mauli has an award-winning global profile. His initial training in India was in classic French cooking. He started his career under the guidance of Antonio Carluccio, becoming part of a team gaining accolades as one of the Top Ten Italian restaurants in India. Featuring in top 5 chefs in the country in Great British Pub Award 2017 & 2018, Top 5 chefs in Suffolk Food & Drinks Award 2019.Alongside featuring his kitchen in Michelin guide since 2018 including in latest 2021 edition.

Chef Mauli has also won various other awards for his work including Best Pub in Suffolk 2017 & 2018 by Pub & Bar Magazine, Outstanding Customer Service Award 2019 in Suffolk Food & Drinks Award. In addition to this he also led his team to various other finals such as best newcomer in Top50 Gastropub & Great British Pub Awards 2016. He has also featured in various categories such as Best Food Pub, Best Wine Pub, Best Free House Pub, Best Restaurant in past five years on numerous occasions in Great British Pub Award and Suffolk Food & Drinks Award. He has also held 2AA rosette for food in his previous roles.

  • Chef Mauli has also been doing regular cookery demonstration in Suffolk Show, Aldeburgh Food and Drinks Show, featured on BBC Radio Suffolk as sofa guest, along with that he has featured in various regional and national magazines and newspapers.
  • His passion for freshly cooked food with high quality local ingredients will be reflected in menus at Brewers Inn, he has the reputation for ingredient focussed cooking and intense flavours from across the globe will be visible in the Brewers Inn cooking style. His reputation for Sunday roast has got a big following in Suffolk and would like to replicate that in Cambridge as well.
